Pairing a Showroom TV connects the SalesLaneTV app to a specific scope (one dealership, one region, or the whole group). The process takes about five minutes.

What you need

  • An Apple TV (4th generation or later), connected to a display and to your network.
  • Admin access to dealerforecast.com.
  • A phone or laptop to scan the QR code.

Setup steps

  1. Install the app. On the Apple TV, open the App Store, search for SalesLaneTV, install. Free.
  2. Launch the app. It displays a QR code, pairing URL, and an expiration countdown.
  3. Open the pairing flow. On your phone or laptop, sign into dealerforecast.com and open the TV pairing page. Scan the QR code or type the pairing code.
  4. Choose a scope. Dealership (one store), group (multi-store rollup), or region (a subset of a group defined by geography, brand, or another grouping your organization uses). Select the matching store or group.
  5. Confirm. The TV transitions to the live dashboard within seconds.

What you'll see on the TV

A live leaderboard with monthly ranking and goal-progress rings. Top three get crown (1st), medal (2nd), and star (3rd) in gold, silver, and bronze. Today's sales feed with vehicle, salesperson, and F&I manager per card. Rotating KPI cards cycle through daily, month-to-date, and objectives every five seconds. When a new sale lands, a six-second confetti burst fires with the salesperson's name on screen. Overnight, sleep mode turns the display pure black with drifting text to prevent burn-in (default 8 PM to 8 AM, configurable).

Scope and re-pairing

Scope is set at pairing time. To change a TV from dealership to group (for example, moving a floor TV to an executive office), unpair from the app settings and re-pair with the new scope. No cleanup required.

There's no limit on how many TVs a dealership can pair or how scopes can mix. A common setup: dealership-scope TVs on the floor and in F&I, a group-scope TV in the GM's office, a region-scope TV for regional VPs.
